Short icebreaker - D. Higgins - 29-04-2017
Hello everyone I'm Higgins. Stumbled across your YouTube videos and thought I'd drop by. I've been trying to find a decent arma community for a while since my last group sortoff drifted apart thought I'd drop by the forums and introduce myself as it will be a while before I get to a pc ( away with work currently). Just wondering how active is the unit as a whole? I've played with several realism units from the days of operation flash point ( red crisis or something now) also do you employ snipers or have any dedicated recon roles?. I've stayed away from filling in an application until I'm able to get on with some members but I'll check up on the forums when I can and I'll look forward to hopefully getting some in game time as soon as I'm able

The community is active almost 24/7 although primarily EUTZ
Actual organised operations are Wed/Thur depending on your platoon and Sat for the unit as a whole, with everything starting at 1930, you'll also get semi-official nights where people are playing pickup games on the primary server, but its not a designated night
Snipers, no (its kind of an inside joke around here but long story short is alot of the guys came from an older unit where they had bad experiences with "special snowflake" detachments)
Recce is/was under consideration although I wouldn't expect to see it tomorrow

Yeah there is quite a few communities that aren't too keen on snipers. It seems like it's setup quite well anything else I should really know?

Thats the jist of it, as part of the application you can ask the interviewer questions and obv you can access the TS whenever
