Media Editing Software |
I wanted to start looking into recording videos of our operations and other stuff, and I was just curious if there was any recommendations for video editing software.
Preferably something that would be user friendly, as that I am new at this kind of stuff. Thanks for any help. Regards, Carten
Assuming you're fine with paying: Sony Movie Studio
It's a consumer version of Sony Vegas. It wont let you do anything incredibility flashy but for the price, it does the job of basic editing very well. I've also heard Lightworks is one of the best free editing suites you can get (I haven't tried it).
Use OBS, it's free and quite easy to set up if you have somebody helping you on team viewer.
http://www.videohelp.com/download/OBS_0_...taller.exe (Older version because the recent OBS is shite) For editing i would recommend Adobe Premier Pro.
Using OBS to record / stream (latest version is ok flynn) https://obsproject.com/
Using Sony Vegas Pro 14 to edit

OBS for recording and streaming like the rest of the lads, NVidia Experience for highlights.
https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/product...nciresolve I use Resolve for editing, it's free and very powerful, but can be a little tricky to use.
I personally use Shadowplay to record, and Sony Vegas Pro 13 to edit. We all have different preferences or experiences, they all kinda do the trick, only change software if your program cannot do something you'd want it to do.
Adobe premier pro - Editing
Nvidia Shadowplay - Recording Handbrake - Compression of files Who remember Operation SAMARITAN?
