1970s British Army Tactics |
Some jizz worthy videos on this channel.
https://youtu.be/3zo5f6l-ZP4 https://youtu.be/ciFnTiacaDU Very cheesy good old chaps! The Section Fire and Manoeuvre videos (second link) are a must watch. Most of it is likely outdated but from what I can see the principles are still the same. Section commanders take note!
Some resemblances but old for sure, its a good watch though!
I've got two videos you lads might appreciate as well.
Although not as much information being given, an observant eye will catch all the things we apply as well.
Calls them "1970's tactics" but yet they were used before that period and are still used today...
Youtube has a lot of decent old videos, we still sit and watch them. This video is still used today - fieldcraft.

As in, 1970s Vidoes of British Army Tactics. And outdated in the sense of the gun group attached to rifle sections and some other bits. But the tactics etc are all effectively the same. Could basically teach the JNCO by forcing people to watch those on repeat lol

It isn't outdated as it has only been temporarily shelved and not removed, in conventional they will come back although slightly editted, reference Army 2020/2025. Wouldn't be a bad a idea for the JNCO. :p |
