Local Regimental History

My local British Army Regiment before it was amalgamated  was called the Gloucestershire Regiment ( The Glorious Glosters )
This link is a short history of that Regiment
My uncle was at the Korean War battle in the article and was one of the survivors and has sadly just passed away
Please if you have a relative alive or dead that has  served  in any nations armed forces post their story here and keep their memory alive
Thanks Pte O. Skool

Very interesting, heard that battle was quite ruthless and the exploits of the Glorious Glosters. They practically resorted to calling artillery on top of their heads to halt the chinese from what i heard.

The 4th Infantry Brigade is the biggest British unit to Arma 3. Our infantry represent 2nd Battalion, The Yorkshire Regiment. A Light Role infantry which is one of the British Armys adaptable battalions. We are equipped with Foxhound Protected Patrol Vehicles allowing us to travel quickly across any terrain, closing with and engaging the enemy.
