Section 10: Retired & Discharge

10-1 Discharged Personnel
10-2 Retired Personnel

10-1 Discharged Personal

Honourably Discharged members as outlined in Section 2-10 can rejoin the 4th Infantry Brigade at any time, the following rules apply:

If a member returns under 3 months of the last discharge then will not be required to complete Phase 1 or any courses they attained prior, they will be advised to attend a refresher course. They will not keep their previous rank.  It will be Company HQ decision on what rank, and position the member rejoins into as outlined in Section 2-8.

If a member returns over 3 months but less than 6 months of the last discharge the member will be required to complete Phase 1 and attend a refresher for all Phase 3 courses excluding Command, Leadership and Management courses. They will not keep any rank gained prior to discharge, but can be assessed to re-enter at a lower level, if they hold the correct qualifications for the rank they have been assessed by Company HQ.

If a member returns over 6 months of the last discharge the member will be required to complete Phase 1 and all Phase 3 courses again excluding Command, Leadership and Management courses. They will not keep any rank gained prior to discharge.

Dishonourably Discharged members as outlined in Section 2-10 are not permitted to rejoin the 4th Infantry Brigade, this can only be overturned by Company HQ if the member passes a formal interview with Company HQ.

It will be Company HQ decision on what rank, and position the member rejoins into as outlined in Section 2-8.
