Cal Crutchlow, first British MotoGP race winner since Barry Sheene in 1981.  This is an auspicious day.

Haha that was just lucky... Viñales was thrid, that must tell you something, it's his first time on the podium of MotoGP. And also Marquez crashed which kinda fucked up the whole race.

Dunno how you can think that. Vinales was 3rd cos the GSX-RR is getting sorted and the Yamaha's have a very hard time on a low grip track like Phillip Island. Rossi....on a Yamaha.....came 2nd cos he's Rossi. Marquez crashed out cos Cal was catching him, his pit board told him so so he tried going faster....and couldn't. Once he crashed out Cal extended to a 4 second lead over Rossi.

Luck had feck all to do with it.
